Chrome extension
The Cortext Chrome extension does not send your data to Cortext or any third-party servers. It only runs when you click “Create Projects” from the Cortext web app. The extension then uses your existing session on claude.ai (cookies and authentication information) to send requests only to claude.ai to create projects and upload files on your behalf. We do not collect, store, or sell this data. The extension does not use remote code (no eval, no loading scripts from the network); it only runs bundled code that you install.
Web app
When you use the Cortext website, you may upload export files. Processing runs on our servers. We do not use your conversation data for advertising or sell it. We may retain session data temporarily to complete the workflow. Any analytics on the website would be disclosed here.
